What is TeamSnap Assistant for Google Forms?

TeamSnap Assistant is an add-on for Google Forms which allows team managers to bring the power Google Forms to TeamSnap teams. With a few clicks team manager can choose a team, select members and send a Google Form, prefilled with tracking fields. Member responses can be directed to a Google Sheet.

Uniform order forms, Tournament date surveys or any other information collection from your team has never been easier thanks to the power of Google Forms!

Getting Started

  1. Design and test a Google Form to your liking. Do not include fields for Member Name, Email and Team Name. These will be added automatically.
  2. Install TeamSnap Assistant addin from plugins menu.
  3. Approve permissions promts.
  4. Sign in with TeamSnap credentials. (You will need to disable pop-up blocker)
  5. Choose your team.
  6. Select members to send this form to.
  7. Populate Subject and Body fields. (basic HTML tags are allowed in Body field)
  8. Hit “send”.
  9. Members will get an email with personalized link which takes them to this form with tracking fields pre-filled.
  10. If you linked your form to Google Sheets you can view submitted responses there.
